Steel hip beams connected to a ring beam and steel ridge
BMK were asked to help out a builder and designer as he could not workout the steel hip connections both top and bottom. BMK were more than happy to oblige big or small.
BMK designed the hip beams by putting in the hip roof planes and all the steel work in 3D. Once the planes were in place it was straight forward to draw it all in 3d which made doing the fabrication drawings a piece of cake.
